This video was created by my elementary students, who are second graders. I asked them to design it applying movie maker as an activity from a project directed to avoid Bullying at elementary schools.

USING SONGS FOR TEACHING ENGLISH

This video was designed to teach professors about how to use songs for teaching English. I enjoyed a lot creating it so I would like to share it with you and I hope it can be useful for developing your teaching skills. 

LEARNING ABOUT DAILY ACTIVITIES

Movie maker is a technological tool that helps you to design your movies about your classes to make them more interactive and interesting to your students. Learners can listen to and practice the English language skills effectively through technology. It is amazing to design your own presentations providing your students meaningful experiences.

EATING HEALTHY TUTORIAL

This tutorial was designed to ESL students in order to guide them in accomplishing a project applying TIC's. I created it using the Camtasia Studio Software and it was a great experience. You can apply it when you are going to be absent from your classes but you want your students to be working on an assignment.

DESIGNING POSTERS

Designing posters is an educational activity that looks for motivating students to be creative, at the same time it helps them to illustrate their oral presentations in classes. To develop this activity, students were asked to cut and paste five pictures from magazines related to celebrities or famous people in order they can describe each of them talking about their physical appearance and personality. After they finished their posters they put them on the wall as a gallery of celebrities and they were asked to describe them.

            

BUILDING VOCABULARY USING SONGS

Songs, Games and Rounds Course is a kind of workshop students from UDELAS take in order to develop teaching skills singing songs, playing games and rounds during the English language classes. During the first class, students listened to a song; then, they had to sing the song applying a karaoke program. After that, I gave them a word in a piece of paper and I asked them to stand up when the word was said during the song. Finally, they shared their words with their classmates and they built a list of twenty five words.
